NORTH OF WESLACO - A driver hit a man crossing FM 88 at Mile 12.

State troopers and Hidalgo County sheriff's deputies are investigating what happened and who is at fault.

The accident happened just north of Weslaco. It appears the man had serious injuries to his leg. Paramedics took him to the hospital.

The driver of a Toyota pickup wasn’t hurt.
